we are halfway there!


Remember at the beginning of the month I challenged you to make a monthly goal. How's it goin'? Ok I wanted to change some habits...I am taking it one day at a time. Some days better than others. But onward & upwards! Yeah!!!

Maintain a positive attitude~~~Regardless of the task you wish to accomplish in life a positive attitude is critical to achieve the desired result. You must begin by believing that the weight loss task you are about the begin will have a significant impact on your health and longevity, as research has shown that losing just 5 10% of your body weight can significantly lower your risk of disease. You should only begin your journey when you feel fully committed to finish, regardless of the inevitable bumps you ll encounter along the way.

Achieving goal setting - Tips To Strengthen Your Motivation
Carry your written (main goals) with you at all times, so you can read them at any time.
Do also read your goals first thing in the morning and last thing at night. This is a powerful technique for keeping your goals at the forefront of your mind, to strengthen your motivation and desire for achieving them

Weight Watchers Homemade Onion Rings
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 large sweet onions, sliced
1/2 cup flour (for coating onions)
oil (for frying)

Preparation
1. Mix egg, oil, and milk on low speed of mixer for 1 minute.
2. Add dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
3. Coat onions in flour.
4. Dip in batter.
5. Fry in hot oil 375* until desired shade of brown.

Nutritional information per serving: 380 calories, 17.6g fat, 2.3g fiber
